Ashley Visagie
Cornerstone Christian College Alumni 2007
B.A: Specializing in Christian Leadership

He has since helped to establish an NGO called ‘Bottomup’ which helps in transforming from a grassroots level up with a sustainable approach to development. ‘Bottomup’ is involved in many exciting projects and has a heart for transforming communities here in South Africa.

The initiative started as the extension of a fieldwork project specifically focused on addressing the needs of the learning difficulties of the girls at St.George’s Girls Home. Subsequintly other projects have been started.

Bonolo Makgale

Hi, I’m Bonolo I come from the beautiful town of Rustenburg. I am currently working for Habitat for Humanity South Africa as the regional Community Development Officer in the Western Cape. I am really enjoying what I am doing and find it challenging and am putting into practise many of the skills that I have learnt at Cornerstone.

I am very passionate about reconciliation, transformation and human development and therefore hoping to pursue my post graduate studies in Social Development.

My name is Matseliso Lemaoana. I come from the mountain kingdom of Lesotho. I am making a difference in my community because of the knowledge and skills that I have acquired from Cornerstone.

At present I am working for Salesians- Life Choices. I am involved in career guidance. I really enjoy what I am doing and feel like I have found the meaning of my life.
I’m in the process of doing my Honours degree in Social Behaviour Studies in HIV/AIDS and Health with UNISA. My future plan is to go back to the Mountain Kingdom to start a project in HIV/AIDS and education-
